This page contains instructions on what to do each Service Mode night for the Calibration Plan at the 2p2

Instructions

Each Service Mode night, on the w2p2oh machine, in the service account:

• Start OT
• Execute one of the TEMPLATE OBs in the CALIBRATION queue (depending on the Siderial Time).

On the w2p2drl machine as user operation in the CALPLAN/ directory:

• Run the script:
  
  • If it is photometric:
    ./startnhc.pl TEMPLATE??h epupassword WFIImagenumber w2p2offpassword day (dd) month (mm) year (yyyy) -p
  
  
  • If it is NOT photometric:
    ./startnhc.pl TEMPLATE??h epupassword WFIImagenumber w2p2offpassword day (dd) month (mm) year (yyyy)
  
  
  
  Where:
  
  - TEMPLATE??h is the name of the TEMPLATE in the OB you executed
  - epupassword is the current password for the t2p2web account on epu
  - WFIImagenumber is the number that appears in place of the ? in WFI_Ima.?.fits
  - w2p2offpassword is the current password for the astro account on w2p2off
  - day month year is the date that the observation was taken
  Example:
  
  - ./startnhc.pl TEMPLATE04h epupassword 38 w2p2offpassword 01 09 2002 -p will process image WFI_Ima.38.fits taken on the 1st September 2002 under photometric conditions
