Isla Negra: house/museum of Pablo Neruda and Pomaire

Trip to the coast to visit the house/museum of the Chilean poet and Nobel laureate Pablo Neruda in Isla Negra. You will see the picturesque villages of Cartagena and Las Cruces, before arriving to Isla Negra. You may admire Neruda's collection of sea shells and nautical objects that the poet collected during his travels around the world.
It is possible to have lunch here (the passenger pays his/her lunch) before continuing towards the small village of Pomaire, well known for its ceramic pottery.

Pacific coast: Valparaíso and Viña del Mar

From the paseo 21 de Mayo, you can admire a panoramic view of the harbor and its neighbourhoods. Next follows a visit to the house/museum of Pablo Neruda "La Sebastiana" in Cerro Florida. Passing muelle (pier) Prat, the excursion then continues to Viña del Mar.

The Polanco funicular will give you another view of Valparaíso. Later, you can visit the Open Air Museum described here, and La Sebastiana. The trip finishes in muelle Prat.
