Registration and Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception will take place on Tuesday, October 23, from 18:00 to 20:00 (check the Workshop Programme), hosted by the Istituto Veneto di Scienze, Lettere ed Arti at Palazzo Franchetti (check the map). We recommend everybody to participate, as during the reception the registration desk will be open. Workshop folders will be distributed containing a four-day ticket valid on all vaporettos (waterbus), and will be used in the following days to reach the Workshop venue. During the reception, additional logistic information will be given.

Registration Fee: the registration fee (500,000 Lit) will be payable only cash at the conference desk (sorry, no credit cards) at the beginning of the Workshop, on October 24. No fees will be collected at the Registration desk, during the Welcome Reception. The fee will also cover lunches on the island of S. Servolo, the 4-day ticket for the vaporettos, and a copy of the conference proceedings.

Please note that the attendance will necessarily be limited to 120 participants, so we suggest you to register as early as possible.

Do not forget to send also the Accommodation Reservation Form in time! Please remember that accommodations will be allocated on a first come first served basis. We strongly recommend you make your reservation immediately, both if you chose one of the accommodations provided by us or if your option is for booking the hotel yourself. Hotels in Venice are usually fully booked many months in advance!
