P2PP User Manual

The P2PP User Manual is available for download (with figures; PDF file). It gives a general description of how to create Observation Blocks (OBs).

Reference Guide on the Import/Export procedure

Should you need it, see the P2PP User Manual for a detailed description on the usage of the Import/Export mechanism.

Tutorials

P2PP tutorials (username: 52052, passwd: tutorial) are available for a number of instruments. Please select an instrument from the instrument drop-down menu on the right.

Also available are:

• a tutorial on the attachment of finding charts and ephemeris files to OBs.
• a tutorial on filling out the README file with P2PP.

FORS Manuals

• FORS User Manual: this manual gives an instrument overview appropriate for proposal and observation preparation. The FORS calibration plan and the standard instrument configuration are explained here as well as the overhead times.
