Release of Deep MUSE Mosaic of NGC 1427A in the Fornax Cluster

NGC 1427A is a gas-rich dwarf galaxy believed to be undergoing infall into the Fornax Cluster. The released mosaic combines observations obtained with and without adaptive optics and includes customised sky-subtraction procedures adapted to the different observing fields. The resulting dataset enables detailed investigations of the galaxy’s stellar populations, ionised gas, and interaction with its environment.
Further details on the observations, data reduction, and scientific analysis are provided in Carvajal et al. (2026). Users can query and download the data via the ESO Archive Science Portal or through programmatic access. Further details, including the DOI assigned to this data collection, are available in the release description.
