Testbench Operational Range, characterization and setup

MONOCHROMATOR 1 and 2

Bandwidth range is 0.1 to 20 nm (ORIEL 77722)

Usable range is 250-1600nm (GRATING ORIEL 77744)

The Sphere

This is a labsphere CSTM-US-200-SF :
The US-200-SF is a 20 inch diameter integrating sphere that provides exceptional uniform luminance over the full 8 inch diameter of the sphere exit port. The sphere interior is coated with  Spectraflect   coating. Four internal lamp mounts are equally spaced around the exit port aperture. The lamp mounts are designed to accept two 45 watt and two 150 watt direct mount halogen light sources. An additional 0.50 port is provided adjacent to the exit port to accommodate a luminance monitor. A plug is included if the port is not used. The mounting frame supplied with the US-200-SF allows for sphere height adjustment while allowing sphere rotation to position the exit port aperture in a vertical or horizontal plane

Neutral Filters

Till the 13/03/2002 : 100%, 50%, 25%, 10% and 1%

This is metal coated filters, 25mm, from Melles Griot

Order Filters

Oriel filters 51290 and 51330 are used to sort the orders:
- from 250 - 500nm: filter 1 (no filter)

- from 500 - 700nm: filter 2 (51290/cut-on wl: 475nm GG 475 SCHOTT cuts everythings below 475nm) , get here transmittance

- from 700 - 1100nm: filter 3 (51330/cut-on wl: 665nm RG 665 SCHOTT cuts everythings below 665nm), get here transmittance

Calibration curve using a ZINC LAMP

Close up around 330nm, very good agreement with ZINC spectral lamp.
