VLT Survey Telescope
This state-of-the-art 2.6-m telescope is with the ESO VLT on Cerro Paranal, a perfect location for ground-based astronomical observations. It is be equipped with an enormous 268-megapixel camera called OmegaCAM that is be the successor of the very successful Wide Field Imager (WFI) installed at the 2.2-m MPG/ESO Telescope on La Silla.
