Night sky gems over the Very Large Telescope
The Milky Way arches over ESO's Very Large Telescope (VLT), located at Paranal Observatory in northern Chile, in this extended to 360 x 180 degrees (with black) panorama view. Many night sky gems are visible including the Large Magellanic Cloud and the planet Jupiter (just above the foreground 8.2-metre Unit Telescope).
