Cryogenic facility at the Large Integration Hall
This cryogenic facility, located at the Large Integration Hall at ESO's headquarters in Garching, is used to test infrared detectors, which need to operate at very cold temperatures so that they don’t pick up thermal radiation from their surroundings.
