ESO 3.6-metre telescope fish-eye view

Our Milky Way can be seen to stretch above the ESO 3.6-metre telescope in this ultra HD fish-eye (fulldome) view taken from La Silla. The telescope is home to the world's foremost extrasolar planet hunter: High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher (HARPS), a spectrograph with unrivalled precision.
