The sky around the quasar QSO J2246-6015
This wide-field view shows the sky around a very rare galaxy and quasar pair in the southern constellation of Tucana (The Toucan). The quasar and galaxy are too faint to show up on this picture from a relatively small telescope, but their position is marked. This image was created using images from the Digitized Sky Survey 2.
