Hans-Emil Schuster
Now-retired ESO astronomer Hans-Emil Schuster at Cerro Paranal, site of the Very Large Telescope. The photograph was taken during site testing at Paranal and Armazones in March 1991. Hans-Emil is seen standing next to a landmark of the Chilean Geodetic Service.
