Day time view of BlackGEM telescopes at La Silla

ESO's La Silla Observatory hosts a number of telescopes, including the BlackGEM array, which recently started operations. In this photograph, the three open domes of the BlackGEM telescopes are seen on the right, while the three round, low-to-the-ground domes on the left host the telescopes of the ExTra project. Among others, ESO's 3.6-metre telescope is visible in the background.
