Soundscape: Paranal tour from platform to UT1

This tour takes you inside UT1 from the VLT platform on a quite windy morning. A “yellow alert” is in place, which means presence of winds >=50 km/h.After the principal access door, a stair leads to the observing floor of the telescope,whose door only opens with a key card. Inside the observing floor, the tour walks around the main mirror, passing close to the telescope’s instruments, FORS2 and KMOS.
