Five QSOs will be observed from the list above during SV.
These observations are meant to be the first step towards a public survey of QSO Absorbers which aims at creating a large and homogeneous dataset to allow the study of the the intergalactic medium in the redshift interval z = 1.6-3. A team coordinated by ESO will submit a proposal to carry out such a Public Survey in Period 66. |
