Jet through the blue
The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) comprises 66 high-precision antennas, spread over distances of up to 16 kilometres across the Chajnantor Plateau in the Atacama desert. Some of the antennas can be seen here, while a jet streaks across the brilliant blue Chilean sky.
