View from the OSF

This view is taken from the Operational Support Facility (OSF), which serves as the home of operations for the Atacama Large Millimetre Array (ALMA) in Chile. At an altitude of 2900 metres above sea level, ALMA antennas are assembled here before being sent to ALMA's Array Operations Site at an altitude of 5000 metres.
