Peek-a-boo atop Paranal
The Sun peeks out from behind the Unit Telescopes of ESO's Very Large Telescope (VLT) during sunset at the Paranal Observatory in northern Chile. Astronomers often visit the Paranal platform to admire this spectacular sight before beginning a night of observations.
