Still a beauty

At La Silla, a beautiful Chilean night sky is being reflected on the disc of the Swedish-ESO Submillimetre Telescope (SEST), now decommissioned. The Milky Way is arching on the right, while on the left the dome of the ESO 3.6-metre telescope is recognizable. Airglow cherishes the scene with delicate greenish hues all around.
