KMOS on a test rig
The K-band Multi Object Spectrograph (KMOS) is a second-generation instrument designed for operation on the VLT.
In this picture, KMOS is seen on a flextural test rig, and is undergoing qualification tests before being sent to its new home at Paranal Observatory.
