Snowy Licancabur and Jurique
Impressive view of the snow over the Licancabur (on the left) and the Jurique (on the right) volcanoes, both border mountains divided between Chile and Bolivia. With an altitude of 5920 m, Licancabur dominates the landscape with its unmistakable conic shape, which makes it the most iconic volcano in the area of San Pedro de Atacama, in the II Region of Chile. The image also shows the bus transporting ALMA workers on a change of shift.
