Road to Paranal
The Sun shines on a single road leading up to ESO's Very Large Telescope (VLT), part of ESO's Paranal Observatory, high up in the Chilean desert. Harsh, unforgiving terrain surrounds the observatory ESO has maintained for over 25 years.
