Inside the AOS Technical Building

Sitting 5000 metres above sea level on the Chajnantor Plateau, the ALMA Operations Site (AOS) is one of the highest buildings in the world. As such, human activity here is limited to a minimum due to its high altitude — though you could be fooled into thinking otherwise by this shot from inside the AOS Technical Building, which is full of busy staff members!
