Mechanical workshop at Paranal Observatory. In order to guarantee the best performances of telescope and instruments, a large team of engineers and technicians work regularly on site. The Very Large Telescope, located at the top of Cerro Paranal, on the II Region of Chile, is the world’s most advanced visible-light astronomical observatory.
