Road to La Silla
A single road winds amongst the telescopes situated at ESO's La Silla Observatory in northern Chile. ESO's 3.6-metre telescope, sat atop the highest peak, looks over ESO's 3.6-metre New Technology Telescope below. Straight ahead, ESO's 1-metre Schmidt telescope and the MPG/ESO 2.2-metre telescope rise from the mountain.
