Construction of the ELT in Chile
Construction of the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) in Cerro Armazones in Chile. It is a mountain approximately 3060-metre high mountain in the central part of the central part of Chile's Atacama Desert. The high number of clear nights, the atmosphere and other elements makes this an advantageous site for astronomy.
