View above La Silla
An extended to 360 x 180 degrees (with black) panorama taken during the ESO Ultra HD Expedition. The view of ESO's La Silla Observatory reveals a plethora of night sky gems. The faint red and green hues produced by airglow encircle the site, while the majestic Milky Way cuts across the sky. The Large and Small Magellanic Clouds are visible amongst a sea of stars in this panorama image.
