Certificate of appreciation
Anton Zensus, director at the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy in Bonn, Germany, is presenting ESO Director General Xavier Barcons with a "Certificate of Appreciation” for ESO's important contributions to the first image of the shadow of the black hole in the centre of the galaxy Messier 87.
