View above the Danish 1.54-metre telescope
An equirectangular panoramic view above the Danish 1.54-metre telescope, located at ESO's La Silla Observatory in northern Chile, reveals a plethora of cosmic curiosities. The majestic Milky Way stretches from one horizon to another, while the Magellanic Clouds hover nearby. Red and green hues fills the air, produced by a phenomena called airglow.
