View from the NTT
This image was taken from just outside the New Technology Telescope (NTT) at the La Silla Observatory. Straight ahead you can see the ESO 3.6-metre telescope. Clouds are flying by to the left and right of the telescope, leaving a small gap that reveals the night sky. In this section a part of the Milky Way is showing.
