APEX mosaic
APEX, the Atacama Pathfinder Experiment telescope – a 12-metre diameter telescope, high on the Chajnantor Plateau, 5000m above sea level in Chile’s Atacama region. ESO Photo Ambassador, Carlos Duran captured this sequence at different times at the site to form a mosaic.
