Following the star trails
Visitors to the ESO Supernova Planetarium & Visitor Centre enjoy a show in the planetarium, which is 14 metres in diameter and uses state-of-the-art projection technology. Here, the audience can see star trails – images that are created by combining multiple photographs taken over time, leading to trails due to the apparent movement of stars in the sky.
