Spectrophotometric Standard Stars

The name of the Observation Blocks already prepared by PSO and available for any visiting observer is given, as well as some information on the star itself. These OBs can be retrieved from the visitor@wu2dhs:impex/UVES/ directory. In service mode, the PSO staff will use the same Observation Blocks.

(*) This star has only model data above 3200 Å.

These stars are recognized by the UVES data-reduction pipeline and are reduced accordingly to provide the instrument response and efficiency. The Observation Blocks have been prepared for all CCD readout modes(<readout-mode>=225kHz_1x1_low,225kHz_1x2_low, 50kHz_2x2_high, 50kHz_2x3_high)and instrument modes (<mode>=blue, red, dic1, dic2) in the respective standard settings (one template per standard setting). The slit width is set by default to 10". There is also a general description as well as anRAordered list and an RA-Decskymap for spectrophotometric standard stars including those listed above.
