Using the examples
This is a collection of example workflows that present different features, whice reflex supports. Some of the examples are provided in tar-archives that include the workflow, input-files and possible script-files. Note that, because of the input-files, the archives can be quite big. All workflows are in XML-format. To use the workflows in ESO Reflex, the user must load the workflow in the ESO Reflex Workflow Launcher window. To use FORS interactive -workflows, the appropriate recipes must also be installed. Due the usage of Python, the user should have the example workflow, Python scripts and test data.
Workflows using the FORS interactive tools
||This|| is an example of a science workflow for the ESO VLT FORS-instrument (MXU mode) that uses the FORS interactive tools. It takes a FORS rectified lamp image, calibration images, slit parameters and master line catalog as input and then performs image/spectral calibration. The interactive tools are used as a user-friendly graphical interface for the spectral calibration and analysis.
