GIRAFFE Low Resolution grating settings OLD focussing

SETUPS DEFINITION AND RESOLUTION.

These are the values as of before the intervention on February 2nd 2015, i.e. they are valid only for observations before that date. Note, however, that these are nominal values. The actual resolving powers are probably lower than these values before the intervention, as there was a slow decrease in spectral resolution since 2010. This was solved with the intervention and the resolving powers are now stable. For more details see the News section. From P84 in ARGUS/GIRAFFE, the setting LR01 is available in VISITOR MODE ONLY due to the problem of obtaining sufficient counts in blue attached flats. For Medusa and IFU all settings are available in service and visitor mode.

Low resolution mode 600 lines/mm, 34.0 blaze grating.
